DESCRIPTION
The units constituing the series CCHA-CCHBA / FTA-FTBA are split air conditioners, where the exterior unit (CCHA-CCHBA) is horizontal type, and the interior units (FTA-FTBA) have a low silhouette and they are capable of operating coupled to a duct system for air distribution.

These units can be used in free discharge by a special supply plenum which is finished with an aluminum anodized for direct supply.
The basic design and arrangement of the constituent elements that are adapted to make a great number of practical requirements. Its reduced heigh allows install the unit in a false ceiling, with suspended or supported unit. Everything joint it in a great versatility of split systems, it offers great simplicity sets of mounting countless installation possibilities.

CABINET
CCHA-CCHBA is made of galvanized steel sheet, finished with polyester powder, electrostatically applied and oven-polymerized of optimum
resistance to corrosion. The assembly is internally lined with thermoacoustic insulation.

FTA-FTBA
Made of high quality galvanized steel plate, the assembly is insulated with thermo-acoustic material.

COMPRESSORS
Compressors are equipped with internal thermal protection -any other additional protection is not needed-, and they incorporate internal shock-absorbing systems mounted on the base with antivibration supports. Lubricant oil -resistant to high temperatures- and crankcase heater are included. Models 201 and 251 incorporate 230V single-phase compressors, 50Hz. Rest of models are equipped with 400V three-phase compressors, 50Hz, Scroll type from model 371 onwards.

HEAT EXCHANGERS
Coils are made of aluminium fins and copper tubing, mechanically expanded, of high exchanging efficiency.

EXPANSION DEVICE
CCHBA, Models 201 - 721: restrictors on outdoor sections.
FTA-FTBA, Is a "restrictor" (calibrated orifice).

AIR FILTER
Polypropilene 100% black, washable, 0,2 mm thick and G1of gravimetric efficiency filtered.

FANS
CCHA-CCHBA, Centrifugal fans on both indoor and outdoor section suitable for duct application.
Indoor section: Models 201 up to 401 driven by fans with incorporated single-phase motor and permanent capacitor. Models 501 to 1001, fans are driven by three-phase motors, transmission is made through pulleys and belt.
Outdoor section: Models 201 up to 721 driven by fans with incorporated single-phase motor and permanent capacitor. Models 751 to 1201 fans are driven by three-phase motors, transmission is made through pulleys and belt.
Fans are of reduced sound power level, incorporate pre-lubricated bearings and are static and dynamically balanced.

FTA-FTBA, These fans consist in two centrifugal impellers and monophasic driven motor (230.1.50Hz) with permanent capacitor. Fans are of reduced sound level, they incorporate prelubricated bearings and are statically and dynamically balanced.

REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT
Made of high grade refrigerant copper tubing, clean and dehydrated, incorporating filter dryer and Schrader Valves to allow easy access during verification and charge. The suction accumulator ensures the return of oil and protects the compressor from liquid flooding.

The welds between the different elements are executed with copper-silver alloy.

Heat pump units include reversing valves to inverse the cycle and one-way valves.

These units are supplied with a refrigerant circuit hermetically sealed, including a light nitrogen charge.

OPERATE AND CONTROL EQUIPMENT
Each unit is supplied with the following protection devices:
• Room thermostat 24V ac.
• Transformer with 24V outlet for relay operating system.
• Contactors for compressor, fan motor, etc.
• Overloads for three phase fan motors.
• High pressure pressostat (manual reset) and low pressure pressostat (automatic reset).
• Reversing valve, solenoid operated 230V.
• Defrost system based on periods of time and outdoor coil temperature.

Power supply
CCHA-CCHBA, 230.I.50Hz ~, 230.3 o 400.3 according to each model.
FTA-FTBA, all models 230.I.50 Hz~.
