2401 - Outdoor unit UXCA - Cooling only
DESCRIPTION
The units that make up UXCA-UXCBA and ECVA-ECVBA series are split system air to air heat pumps. The outdoor unit UX is designed for installation on roof tops, terraces or any exterior space. The indoor unit ECV is suitable for operation coupled to an air distribution system. These units are supplied totally finished after a strict final test and ready for installation on site (connection to air duct system, refrigerant piping, electricity supply, control system, drain). Each section is supplied with pressurized nitrogen from leak test.
CABINET
Is made from high quality galvanized steel sheet finished with electrostatically applied and oven polymerised polyester powder for optimum resistance to corrosion and outdoor ambients. The access covers to the unit parts have solid turn latches.The exterior tray quickly removes freezing water to avoid ice accumulation.
COMPRESSOR
The compressor has wide operating limits. It is equipped with internal thermal protection -any other additional protection is not needed-, oil charge for its perfect lubrication and internal shock-absorbing system, mounted on the base (chassis) by means of vibration absorbers.
EXCHANGERS
Made of copper tubing, mechanically expanded and aluminium fins, exchange high performance.
EXPANSION DEVICE
Thermostatic expansion valve on both indoor and outdoor sides (Heat Pump). Option electronic expansion valve
FANS
Indoor section Centrifugal fans, double suction that allow for duct application. driven by three phase motor 230 or 400.3.50 and transmission through pulleys and belt for airflow/static pressure regulation. Outdoor section : Direct drive Axial Fans IP-54 protection, class F insulation.
Option: Variable speed Inverter Fans. Fans are of reduced sound power level, incorporate pre-lubricated bearings and are static and dynamically balanced.
AIR FILTERS
Washable polyurethane foam of 10mm thickness, S-20 highefficiency filtering. Standard filters G2 class.
COOLING CIRCUIT
This includes the following elements:
- One or two fully independent circuits.
- ACR copper refrigerant line.
- Brazing is made with silver alloy
- In-line drying filters.
- Schrader valves for high and low pressure service connections.
- Reversible 4-way valves.
- Non-return valves.
- Double expansion system.
OPERATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM
Each unit includes:
- Room thermostat.
- 230/24V transformer and relay system for contactor coil energising.
- Contactors for operating compressors and fan motors.
- Thermal protection for indoor section motors.
- H. P. pressostat manual reset. L. P. pressostat automatic reset.
The heat pumps include:
- 4-way reversing valve driven by a 230V solenoid.
- Defrost system based on time cycles and the temperature of outdoor coil.
